The Setup I Take Into Every Pull
This is the personal setup I run across both games. It is not a meta tier list assembled from other people’s videos. It is the loadout that keeps my fireteams upright through the enrage window, and the breakpoints I refuse to drop below.
| Survival Metric | Destiny 2 — Contest / Master | WoW Forever — 60-Cap |
|---|---|---|
| Damage reduction floor | Tier 10 Resilience (40% PvE reduction) | Defense cap 430 against level-63 bosses |
| Resist buffer | 100 Resilience plus Concussive Dampener | 150 Fire Resist unbuffed before pull |
| Recovery window | Sub-0.5s restoration after shield break | Heavy bandage tick timed to the cleave |
| Positioning margin | 60 Mobility minimum to break the line | 9% hit rating so nothing whiffs on the move |
Destiny 2 — Endgame
- Triple-Tap Kinetic precision baseline on the primary.
- Artifact Surge and Unraveling Rounds synced to the damage phase.
- Overcharged Well of Radiance stacking called to the syllable.
- One person tracking the enrage timer out loud.
WoW Forever — 60-Cap
- Greater Fire Protection Potion on the pull timer.
- Flask of the Titans for the long attrition fights.
- Restorative Potion reserved for the cleave window.
- Elixir of the Mongoose when the DPS spike decides the kill.
Hardware Peripherals
Hardware does not win encounters. Bad hardware loses them. This is the floor I keep under my hands.
- High polling rate mouse so every micro-adjust lands inside the damage window.
- Mechanical linear switches for spam that does not fatigue across a four-hour logout.
- Wired connection with a backup headset, because Contest Mode does not pause.
- A second screen holding my own encounter notes, never a stream.
